Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas

Ex-husband owes money per divorce decree

My ex-husband owes me $5,000 per our divorce decree that was signed over 3 years ago. He hasn't paid me a dime and refuses to. Is there a relatively cheap way to go about getting this money? I no longer live in the state of TX, so it would be difficult to do this myself. Would a ''collections'' attorney be able to help me, I've had no luck with Family law attorneys.

Thanks

I am a collection attorney. I don't know what you mean by relatively cheap, but I would do this for the same percentage as for other commercial clients and require an advance of $500 for court costs, service fees and attorneys fees to be credited against any recovery if any. Contact me by e-mail if your interested.
