falsley reported credit info.

i took out a loan and secured it with a car. i defaulted on the loan and the car was never repossessed. but it showed up on my credit report for seven years. so the car sits in my driveway foer all this time. living in the southwest an the car not working. i sell the car to a hispanic worker biulding homes in the nieghbeor hood for $50.00. although the car was sold by me. and has since gotten tickets for violationts of toll. do i have a recourse in false reporting by a creditor. that has cost me thousands since i hav ebought at least 5 new vehicals since the reporting.in respect to higher interesr rates???

Am confused as to what the creditor falsely reported, since you acknowledge defaulting on the loan.

Am confused as to what relevance is the buyer's nationality and trade.

Am surprised that you sell a car for $50.00, do not assure the transfer of title, and then complain about toll tickets in your name.

The creditor had the title liened, and you could not transfer clear title to the car. You defaulted on the note. The creditor could properly advise of the default.

If it is a Texas debt, and the statute of limitations has passed, ask the credit agency to delete the reference from your credit report.
