Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas
financial judgement
many, many years ago, i was sued as the responsible party in a vehicle accident that occurred in los angeles, ca. i unfortunately was not aware of the suit when it was filed (due to many different variables) and because of this, a judgement was placed and now appears on my credit report. here's the catch...i was not the responsible party in the vehicle accident and since i was not aware of the suit, i didn't know to defend it. is there any possibility of being able to have this removed without having to pay it?
