funeral & medical debt
me and my brother were bequeathed my mothers ira account and her rent house in her name. our step dad was bequeathed their residence they lived in. he was also left the residual estate.would like to know if me and my brother are responseable for these bills.

I'm not sure exactly what bills. The estate is responsible for the bills of your deceased mother. The executor is responsible for seeing that they are paid.
