Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas
Can I garnish or serve a writ
Can I serve a writ to the debtors employer to gain access to the debtors pay check if I have a small claims judgement . The judgement is 5 years old. I have served him interrogatories, and found him to be $70,000 in debt to the IRS, no real-estate and he's moved his bank account, I think he's paypaling his funds, but can't prove it. NO assets at 45 that I or anyone can find...help!!!

Can't garnishee current wages in Texas.
Collecting a judgment against an individual in Texas is usually quite difficult unless they have assets they can't hide.
