garnishment of tax return

a bill collector is threatening to garnish my tax return. is that legal? or is it just a scare tactic?

get the name of the creditor and the collector...that is gross violation of the law to make such threats...in Texas they cannot take anything without a judgment..and you will get notice of any lawsuit.
