Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas

hearing for dismissal for want of prosecution

Does this mean the courts are gonna dismiss outstanding balance on a truck loan in default ?

Will there be anyway to obtain a title for said vehical afterwards?

Re: hearing for dismissal for want of prosecution

I guess they sued you for failure to make payments and the balance of the note. Evidently, they have done nothing since they filed the lawsuit. The DWOP will dismiss the lawsuit (unless they take some action between now and the deadline - which will likely happen), but even if no action is taken, you still owe all the money to get the title to the truck.
