Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas

Insurance refused to pay

A hospital in Texas called and told me my insurance company refused to pay a bill that happen in july of 1999. The insurance company was through my employer (railroad) the hosiptal wanted to know if I had a supplemantel insurance, I have now but then I didn't. I retired in 2000 because of medical problems. My question is do I owe them any money because the insurance should have taken care of it. and is there a statule of limitations.

Re: Insurance refused to pay
