Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas

Interrogatories In Aid of Judgement

My husband recently received a collection from CACV of Colorado, LLC. from a credit card that he had several years ago. They have agreed on a payment amount every month until it is paid. We just received a Interrogatories in Aid of Judgment. Does this mean they are taking us to court and what are they trying to do to us?

Re: Interrogatories In Aid of Judgement

possibly....when a debt is more than 4 years old, they cannot get judgments if a person defends on that basis...but payments or agreements as in your case, renews the debt...now they are trying to collect ie..get any non exempt assets. Visiting a lawyer will be inexpensive..maybe nothing or $50 for a consultation
