Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas
I had a judgement aagainst me in 2005. I had been injured and filed for SSD. State Farm bank repoed my pickup truck. The original complaint was State Farm Bank and they were awarded judgement. I heard nothing from them since then until recently. The bank sold this debt to Casa Investments and their attorney, Undrewood, has sent me Interrogations In Aid of Judgement for me to fillout and return to them. They ask for things like bank statements and income tax forms since June 2006. I receive about $1680 a month from SSD. I have no money anywere and the only tangible property except for a 2008 Ford Ranger and a1982 Yamaha XJ750 motorcycle that is in need of repair, that I can't afford at this time. They also ask about family living with me and do they own any property. My son has been staying with me because he has been unable to find employment. He owns a 2004 Ford Focus. All vehicles are paid for. They even want to know how much I give to Church, which alot of times is cash because I make enough to use for tax purposes and even if I had record I refuse to tell them because that is between my God and me. Along with my checking and savings, which today have about $3 or $4 in each account until I get my monthly check. Also, I have a seperate account for my Federal student loan. What rights do I have? Can the court take my vehicle, my only mode of transportation, or my sons' vehicle? There request for statements is humongus and I could not afford to print let alone mail to them. Can they take any of the Student loan money? What, if any, are my rights?

Many lawyers would help..but u need to scan the discovery requests..ie interrogatoreis..and production..If you have nothing..most people answer nothing..but u should not answer any questioins about property of others..I presume the judgment is only against you??
There are quite a few items involved here. The Texas property code allows for a vehicle per licensed driver in the house. Cash is not exempt property. You should be very careful about the student loan money in your account.
Best of Luck
