Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas

Judgement on Property

I am a Respondent in an Arbitration claim, over a Credit Card debt. In my Response to the Claim, I am submitting the Contract that I have on a few acres which would satisfy the Award/Judgement. Do I include in the Response that I may not have enough money for all Closing Costs, if the Judgement is paid first? And what happens if the property doesn't sell?

Re: Judgement on Property

Do NOT submit any information about your assets. You are putting the cart before the horse. Until they obtain an award from arbitration and then obtain a judgment of the award, they cannot compel you to pay anything. If you want to negotiate with the attorney who filed the claim for the credit card company, do so. But do not give up that information in the claim.
