Is it possible that a creditor (CC) can file a judgement with out me being aware of it?

If the creditor was able to succesfully convince a judge that you could not be located, and therefore was entitled to serve you by publication, then it is likely that you would not have known of the lawsuit.

If you can establish that you were easily found, then you might be able to get the judgment voided.

You will need a lawyer.

Frequently people move..so service may have been at old address...but if you don't go to Court to set it aside, it will remain and they can collect on the judgment...this is happening a lot on credit card debts..
