Judgements

l was suppling product to a company that was pre-paying for the product. l then sent the money to the distributor in california, the distr sent product for a little while then stop after the last payment....the company said they would go after the distr... but l had to accept a judgement ans give rights to them to go after the distr..

so l did...now they are also going after me....and l can not get the attorney to call me back...l sent all the transfer of funds l made to prove l sent the money to the distr....now the constable comes and they gave me till the 9TH of May to come up with the money or they will secure all of my assetts....l only own two older cars...no home no assetts...how do l protect what l have.....the cars are worth maybe 1,500 each....Help......

Just going on what you said, it appears that your assets are exempt (not available) to satisfy any judgment against you. However, if this judgment is recorded in the property records of your courthouse, it will stay on your record for 10 years and can be re-newed for another 10 years. Make 'em work for it. Good Luck.

Unless you owed them something...you lost all rights probably..how much money are you talking about???if you only own one car..they can take nothing...but if judgment was not owed..you may try to set it aside..and ifmoney is no object call us
