Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas
I am new to the judgment collection business. I find judgments that have not been paid, find the plaintiff, and then find assets for the defendant. Make the collection with the help of a writ of execution and get paid.
The person that won a law suit is named Mario M. dba A's Restaurant. Mario M died last month. A's Restaurant is still in business. Is the judgment in Mario's favor still viable? Can the judgment still be collected for the business as the business was named in the suit?
