Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas

Judgment for a debt in Texas

A judgment was filed against me by Discover Card. To collect the debt Centurian had their lawyer put a garnishment against my bank account (I am the only person on the account). They seized all my funds. Is this legal? What recourse do I have? I have direct deposit at work and need to know if I should stop my direct deposit so that they cannot seize future checks?

The garnishment is absolutely legal, and you have no recourse. Stop the direct deposit.
