Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas

Judgment filed no notification of suit

I received a letter stating that a judgment was filed against me and I was never notified of the law suit. It was also filed in a county that I do not live in and have never lived in. Is this legal? What can I do?

Re: Judgment filed no notification of suit

You will have to file an appeal in the court that made the judgment against you. This is complicated. Better get an attorney. The pleadings and filings on your behalf have to be in proper order or you will submit to venue under this court. Good Luck.
