Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas

I might have a judgment put against me. I have nothing at all but my apartment and car that I still make payments on. My payroll checks are deposited into my checking account, and I know they could put a judgment against my checking account. My question is when my daughter was younger and she first started working, a checking account was opened in her name but she was a minor than so my name had to be put on the account, she is now 19, and my name is still on her account, can they also put a judgment against her checking account.

Do not fail to answer and contest the lawsuit..you may discover they cannot prove the case..so write the Court immediately if you have been served...then call us or talk to a lawyer...and as for a "judgment" against bank accounts..they are only effective if they "garnish" the account and they cannot if you have someone else's name..Banks will not honor claims without proof...but you could keep your account and add someonesle to it...Don't give up..when you have money you can pay..as I am sure you intend to
