Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas
judgments
If a judgment is placed on your credit for a debt, will this prevent selling your house before this is paid off?
Also, what recourse would they have in the case of an inheritance?
Thank you!

Re: judgments
An abstract of judgment may have to be satisfied before you can sell your house. An inheritance may be seized.
