Justice Court

What is the differents between a Civil Court and Justice Court? I received a citation saying I am being sued. It was Filed in a Justice Court and the type of case is Justice Court and on the back page of the Citation is a letter stating that if I wanted to discuss a resolution of this manner to contact Linebarger Goggan Blair &Sampson LLP Attorney at Law. What do I do? File an answer or contact them. This account has not been paided on since 2007. Thanks.

Re: Justice Court

Both contact them and file an answer..denying the claim is correct and true..Linebarger etc is a collection firm usually for unpaid taxes..but for other debts..and they do negotiate but ask for the basis of their claim..and negotiate..good luck

Justice Courts are for claims less than $10,000..and it is a "civil" court..
