Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas

I have a lady who gave me a loan of $2200 and i wanted to make contract but she didnt. Now she is herassing me every day by text or phone. I told her that i will pay her back with income tax when it comes in. do i need to worry about her taking me to court even tho there is no contract? I will be paying her back no matter what just dont want to pay more then i need to.

She may sue you, but the question in court would be: What exactly were the terms (agreement) for the repayment of the debt? Since there weren't any, the Court would have to make up something.

Don't give in to her threats, and pay her back when you can.
