Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas

Is this legal?

I do not know it this is illegal or not. Please advise.

I will give you the scenario. My focus of legality is not with my ex-wife but with her attorney. I am questioning the attorneys actions.

My wife (at the time) used my business credit card to hire a divorce attorney. She was an authorized user on the account. The attorney charged my business credit card $17,999 as a retainer for the divorce. There are three different points that I am questioning the legality and ethics of the attorney.

1. The attorney accepted a business credit card for a personal lawsuit.

2. The attorney returned cash to my ex-wife from the retainer. Could this be considered money laundering? Remember it is a business credit card.

3. The attorney charged a fee for using the credit card.

Re: Is this legal?

On the face of it, it appears to be quite legal.
