Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas
Legal vs. Illegal
A person in another state (TX) owes me money.
I sued in their state and won a judgement less cost to file and travel there for the case.
I know the persons bank account info and check their bank balances daily.
Is it legal or illegal for me to transfer money from their bank account to mine in the amount of the judgement won?
I have their bank account info because they gave it to me years ago and never changed their login or password.
I don't have the time or money to travel to TX to seek a bank levy. Plus the TX courts are confusing and difficult to deal with compared to my state.

Sir or Madam,
It is not legal for you to transfer funds from someone else's bank account. Don't even think about doing that. In fact, you should not be looking at their bank balances at all.
You should look into hiring an attorney to get the judgment entered here in Texas, and garnish the bank account through the court system. You may very well be successful if you use an attorney.
I would love to assist you, you may email me if you would like or look my firm up online and call any time.
Hope that helps.

What you're talking about is bank robbery. Your OK judgment must be approved by a TX court. If you don't know the law, get a TX lawyer.
