Liability of credit card debt after spouses death

Our credit cards are in my husband and my name. He is the primary. He just passed away. Am I liable for the debt on the cards?

Probably yes. They will first look to your spouse's estate, then to you. The debt is a community debt unless they specifically agreed, in writing, to look only to your spouse's separate assets rather than the community credit.
