Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas

I live in Texas and a debt collection office sued me. They didn't show up to court so judge declared me not guilty. I received a letter from debt collector/law office w a notarized letter from another county in Texas saying they have declared me guilty and huge declared I must pay back with interest. Is this real? Can they have retried case in a county I don't even live in without my knowledge and declare me guilty after el paso county judge said I wasn't ? Please help me as I am $150 above legal aide qualifiers and can't afford lawyer

You need to get a copy of the judgment from the court that "declared you not guilty."

Are you sure that the case in the second county is the same debt?

The best thing you could do would be to get copies of all documents from BOTH files, and take them to a lawyer.
