Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas

Hello, i live in Texas and unfortunately i took a payday loan in 2008 and now have been sued for the amount owed which is $1680, i have been requested to reply in writing to the court of what seems to be paper that they served me with trough my land lord who handed it to. My question is that if i go to court over the matter and present the court with a payment plan that i am willing to make can they garnish my wages for this or if they are awarded a default judgment can they garnish my wages or go after my bank account. Please can you advise me

they cannot garnish your wages but could garnish a bank account if they know where it is...good luck..Really you have not been served properly but do not present a payment plan to Court...only agree to pay the amount loaned to you..deny all the rest...and if they do not appear ask the Court to dismiss the case with prejudice so it will be legally uncollectable..Good luck
