Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas

I live in Texas and I am being sued by a collection agency. My court date is March 30, 2010. I need some advice as to what do to and how to prepare for court because I cannot afford a lawyer to represent me.

Send a written denial of the debt claimed by the collection agency..as you don't know it has the rights from the creditor to collect/you don't know if the interest/penalties etc included in the claim are correct..and if you appear, the Court may dismiss...so answer in writing and appear..good luck
