Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas

I live in Tx can a lien be placed on my home for a credit card debt over fours year old?? i am being harassed...use that term lightly...by California Recovery System for bank informaion for this old credit card debt??

Have they put it in writing, if so, they are violating FDCA..fairdebtcollectionact..of US and Tx..but tell them to quit harassing...and they must..or hire a lawyer..
