Money lent to a friend
I lent $30,000. to a personal friend June '06 and he was to PIF by Aug '06. He has yet to do so. What legal action can I take and could he file bankruptcy on this debt?

If you have any proof of this loan, you could sue him to recover; and yes, he can take bankruptcy on this debt just like any other.
