Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas

i have outstanding payday loans and am concerned that they may be "turned in" to local law enforcement officials... can this happen and if it does what is usually the procedure/outcome?

"Lae enforcement officials" have nothing to do with debt collection.

The creditor might eventually sue you, but the police never get involved.

If you write a worthless check, that's a crime, not a debt.
