Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas

payday loan options

I had to use 5 different payday advances to get my vehicle fixed, pick up my son for the summer, and then fly him back. I got a better paying job and paid 2 of them off. Then the following week they hired another employee resulting in a 3 or 4 day workweek. If I didn't have to pay them I could get ahead. But now the payday advances are taking 80% or more of my checks leaving me behind on other bills (rent, etc.). What are my options, what can I do?

Re: payday loan options

No question you are in a rough place. Homeless and w/o electricity are not good options. If it were me, I would pay my rent and utilites (keep as low as possible), pay as much of the advances as possible, and get a second job. The payday people will scream, but so what.
