payment of car from divorce
divorced couple,car awarded by judge to wife,wife never put car in her name,let car go into collections,exhusband getting collection notices.should copy of divorce papers be sent to collections with their letter stating it is not his responsibility and to go after the wife. also will this go on the husbands credit report if it is still in his name?

The finance company which financed the purchase of your car was not a party to your divorce, therefore, they are not bound by your divorce decree. You both signed the contract with the finance company and so you are both responsible for the debt to the finance company. I am sure it will go on husband's credit; in fact, it probably is already on there.
