Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas

What can they actually take of my personal items

Im a disabled single mom my ex told me 2 weeks after I bought a car that there wont be any child support for a while no job. So I kept up payments as long as I could then I turned the vehicle back into the Credit union. I now have a a judgment against me that is being enforced.

The order instructs the officer to collect either monies or to seize and sell at public auction assets belonging to me in sufficient amount to satisfy the judgment which is 7653.58 dollars .......... MY Questions is .... Can They do this and what all can they take from me? I am not receiving child support and living on Social Security Disability.

Try not to worry too much about the judgment. Sounds like you have no exempt assets available for judgment. They might try to garnish your bank account, but not likely. The bad part about this is - it will last for 10 years on your credit record. Good Luck
