personal loan/promissory notes
If we are going to lend someone money with a promissory note. What do we need to do legally so that it will hold in court if they do not pay us back.

Your best choice is to have it drafted by an attorney (would not be expensive). Your next best alternative is to go to the county law library and draft a note from the information you obtain there. Good luck.
