my possessions at ex-girlfriend's house

i have things, i purchased, at my ex-girlfiend's house. the receipts are there as well. the only legal documents i have pertaining to the purchases are credit card receipts. how do i get my things back?

If she is not willing to return the items voluntarily (maybe through a third person?), then you will have to sue her in small claims court (unless the value is significant) and get a court order.
