Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas
I am in the process of being sued for an unpaid car loan.In the petition it states I owe $6200.00.In a letter I have from the law firm dated three months prior it states I owe $233.54.If I go into court will the judge consider the lower amount and could this be in my favor?

Clearly, with such a disparity (i.e., $6200 vs. $233.54), there is more information here that needs to be reviewed before any real advice can be given. If you would like to write to me at my email address, perhaps I can answer your question. [email protected]
