Promissary Note

I entered into an written agreement with my ex-boyfriend stating that a loan would be repaid to an individual at the earliest time possible. I would like to remove him from any liability of repayment, can I create a written document doing this?

No. Only the party receiving the payments can remove your ex from the promissory note.
