Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas
i purchased a truck through a lender. I was out of work and missed pmnts. I then started sending pmnts in on the truck again once i got a job along with a letter thanking them for being patient while i was out of work. Now my mom and dad are getting harrassing night visits and back to back phone calls from a repo man, stating if they see the truck they are going to get it and they were going to find me. Do I have any legal recourse against this that is happening and what should i do now. I havent received any of my payments back, but the harrassment continues. I no longer live with my parents as a matter of fact i dont even live in the same town anymore. What should I do. I mean I am at the point of getting another veh and just letting this one go back because I am afraid now.

Contact the lender (NOT the repo man) and see if you can straighten things out.
If you're not current on payments, they have the right to repossess the vehicle, even if you've been sending in payments.
Buy a coach's whistle for Mom and Dad. When the repo man calls them, they should blow the whistle (as loudly as possible) into the phone, and then hang up.
"Harassing night visits?" That's an easy one. They should call the police.
