Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas

I just received a letter from a random lawyer sayin there is a court date for debt collection for my husband. My husband passed away 2 months ago, he had not worked in 4 years he didn't have a life insurance policy and we don't own a house. what do I do.

You do not owe the debt and i tmay be invalid claim..but as you describe ..the lawyer and creditor are not able to collect.
