Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas

I have received the papers from the court that two of our credit card companies are filing suit

against us, we have 20 days to file a written response and if we don;t a judgment will be

granted. I do not argue that we owe the money, my husband is making about $30,000

less a year since he has let go from his job. What will happen when they file the judgement?

Do I need to remove the money from our checking accounts, can they seize our bank

accounts?
