Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas
we have received papers in the mail and calls about civil suit being filed against us from a credit card company. No papers have been served yet. We have talked to them they are insisting we enter a contract of a certain amount for 3 years. If we could afford this we would have paid the credit card in the first place. They state that interest will continue to build and calls will continue until we agree to terms. Is this correct

it may be...but u could send me the papers received...and it could be they are not truthful...also, write the address on the papers andinclude a copy of the papers...write on them CEASE AND DESIST ALL CONTACT CONCERNING THIS ACCOUNT EXCEPT IN WRITING. that will stop the phone calls..
