Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas

I have recently been served with papers saying I am in default of a judgement for a car that was repoed. I responded to the court with a settlement amount within the timeframe that was required, but now they are saying that I am in default. I do not want to have my paychecks garnished at work. I have attempted to settle this debt with the financial institution and they have rejected my settlements. What recourse do I have, or what are my options regarding this default?

you need to defend the claim..making settlement offer is not enough..options include, hiring a lawyer, setting aside default..perhaps counterclaim, bankruptcy, and they cannot garnish paychecks but could your bank account if they know where you bank.so change banks..call us if we can help
