recover a loan

I have loaned my ex-wife a lot of money over the last few years, some I have a proissory note for signed by her. What can I do to recover what she owes me? The amount totals over $30,000.

You can certainly sue under the terms, and according to the terms of the promissory notes. You can also sue for the monies loaned without supporting notes, but whether you recover, will depend upon the amounts of each loan, and what evidence you have to support the loan and terms of repayment.
