Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas
i rented 2 condos in galveston for 55. a night on the internet, which came to 280. each for the room fees and hoa fees and such. I paid for half the balance with my debit card and then the other half when i got to the condo. we stayed and had a wonderful time, the next week i received an email saying there was a billing error I called and they told me i had only been charged for one night and there is no way the price on the computer was correct that they were 145. a night. i told them i would not have stayed for that priace much less rented 2 condos. they have then within 5 minutes of my conversation they charged my debit card 2 charges for 166.32 each. i did not agree to these charges and disputed them but the bank says they can do this. I feel like i have been mis lead and should be able to do something about this. i have my receipt saying 3 night and 0 balance but it is not broken down per day what can i do now

Sue your bank, and sue these crooks. All in one lawsuit. Your bank has no right to take money out of your account that you didn't authorize.
