Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas

Repo on lease

I did a volunteer repo on a truck that I was LEASEING because i got in a bind and couldnt afford it anymore. I thought it would just go on my credit and be done, but they keep calling wanting me to pay the left over balance 7,000 what exactly can they do if i cant pay that by the day they want it.

Never give "repo" without written agreement of the balance owed...you still owe whatever the contract says and their remedy is to sue for the debt...but collecting is hard...
