Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas

Repo

My sister is having a car repo'd. She has brought the car to my house and left it in my backyard for 6 months or more. The repo man knows where it is. He has came by on may occassions and I have tried everytime except one to get the car for him. We have 34 small children and the back gate has a pad lock on it. My husband keeps this on his keyring. If he isn't here neither is the key. I have set up many times and such where we are availiable to come and get this car. The last time he cussed me out and got mad because I was bathing my children and couldn't chat with him. I am fed up with the repo man, and this bank. I have been ultra helpful for months with trying to give them this car. They have yet to come during one or at leat 20 scheduled times. Is there a point where when this car has been sitting on my property for any given time that it then becomes mine??

Thanks in advance

Re: Repo

Please tell me that was a typo -- that you don't really have 34 small children.

Re: Repo

Send the letter a certified letter stating that you are charging $50/day storage. Tell them to call for an appointment to pick up the vehicle. That might work.
