Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas

Due to the economy and a recent diagnois of lung cancer I am unable to make payments on a motor home with a balance of $47,000.00. I called the co and told them my situation and they said they would auction it off and the balance I would be obligated for or they could put a lien on my house. Is this possible, this is all I have left.

Re: reposse

The could get a judgment for the deficiency and put a judgment lien against the debtor. It cannot be enforced against your homestead. If you should leave your house and take up another homestead, then the lien could be enforced against your house.
