Repossession Topic:
My car was repossessed by my financial lender Friday (Aug. 27) Morning. After waiting on hold listening to jazz music for 3 hours I was finally greeted by a representative in the Redemption Department and was told I need to pay $1910.16 in 14 personal days or the vehicle would be sent off to auction.
Monday (Aug. 30/Day 4) I called to ask about payment information (how i should pay them by credit card, money gram, western union, or check). I waited on the phone for 5 hours, until someone finally picked up. By this time, I officially am no longer a fan of jazz music.
Wednesday (Sept. 1/Day 6) morning, I sent $1920.00 money gram. Also, that morning, I am on hold with the redemption office. Literally, my cell phone is just on hold for hours. 3:00pm comes around and I am still on hold. Have been on hold for 6 hours now. 4:00pm comes and I am still on hold, and then it says the office has closed. I am beyond stressed at this moment.
Thursday (Sept. 2/Day 7), I do the same thing. I was on hold from 8:30am - 4:00pm. No one picked up, literally.
Now the reason why I am calling the Redemption Office after I paid is because I was told Monday, after I pay I call back and they fax me information I must sign and then I fax it back to them. I call the regular collections office for the financial institution yet no one can help me and they keep telling me "You're good in our system, your next payment is due Oct. 13, 2010. You should have your vehicle." I tell them I don't and advised to call the same Redemption Office who call waiting time is "excessive"
By Friday (Sept. 3/Day 8) I am completely gone and terribly upset. I am on hold again all day Friday, and by this point I call the towing agency that is storing my vehicle. The lady tells me, "we dropped your vehicle off at auction today." Luckily she tells me where my car is, and I call the auction place. Unfortunately for me, the auction place closed @ 1pm and it is was 4pm.
I am beyond upset at this moment. What can I do?
No one can help me at the Financial Institution and now is answering at the Redemption Office, and I'm quite sure the Auction people will treat me like a deadbeat just at the towing people did. Doesn't help, that the personal days at counting down with the 3-day weekend...
