can i have my deposited ss check garnished for my repossion

I agree with Mr. McLeaish -- but want to add that once they DO get a judgment, then they can execute it against your bank account and grab the monies that are in there. It would be your burden, in court, to prove that the monies are SS.

Not until there is a judgment against you but if you are not sued and have no judgment against you, no garnishment is permitted
