How do i respond to a law suit in a written response filed at a county clerk?

Being sued by a supply com. for $ 17o7.88 plus fees

If you're being sued in the wrong venue, you'd want to file a special kind of answer.

We really need more information.

If the debt is four years old, your answer should mention the statute of limitations.

If you're being sued in the wrong capacity, your answer should state this, and should be sworn.
