Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas
Ruined credit due to forclosure (back taxes)?
Will forclosure due to back taxes ruin my credit if the property is not in my name but in my grandmother's who is deceased? The amount of taxes owed is close to appraisal value of property. I'm inclined for it to continue to forclosure if it will not ruin my credit to do so. Thank you for your help.

Unless you show ownership, it shouldn't have any effect on your credit.
